“The scope and role of the tax function are changing. Disruptive forces, such as globalization, transparency and digitization, have given rise to both enhanced regulatory scrutiny and more complex business models. The tax function’s focus is consequently expanding from technical reporting, compliance and tax planning, to technology and digital tax, tax-related risk management and business-enabled tax planning. As a result, tax is being drawn out of its traditional silo and into the broader business.”
– Jay Nibbe, EY Global Vice Chair, Tax

What is the EMEIA Tax Centre at EY?
We specialise in helping clients in Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) to review and improve how they pay tax by looking at every element of their business.
Working within the EMEIA Tax Centre gives you a unique opportunity to build skills, networks and relationships across borders. All graduates on this programme become part of our Tax Technology Transformation team. We assess how people, processes and technology are managed in a business. Right for the word go, you’ll be in the thick of it as you learn to apply the right tech solutions for individual clients, review and re-design global tax control frameworks and even apply new reporting and audit tools.
Throughout the programme, you’ll have lots of training opportunities and support from your team while you also study for your professional Association of Tax Technician qualifications. By the time you complete the programme, you’ll have your own client portfolio and are likely to be ready for promotion to Senior Consultant.
To be eligible for this programme you must have graduated with an honours degree before the programme start date in September 2020 (any subject).
