What type of jobs are available?

Radar will initially target university graduates and then enhance this to promote opportunities for apprenticeships and university placements and internships. You will find a full range of jobs across many Sectors, reflecting a chance to join recent start up companies, locally established brands as well as employers with a global presence. Click here to find them.
What type of companies can I find on Radar?
Northern Ireland is full of amazing start-up and established locally-owned companies which have limited resources and sometimes struggle to highlight career opportunities. We also benefit from a fantastic level of foreign direct investment (fdi) companies which are typically multi-national companies. We want Radar to offer a full spectrum of brands – small, emerging, established, global, across private, public and charity sectors. Click here to find companies looking to hire right now.
Why does Radar promote sectors?
Two key reasons. Many of our Sectors have brilliant companies but they are finding it hard to attract the right volume of graduates and this leads to pressures of skill shortages. Secondly, Northern Ireland has several exciting and sectors emerging rapidly. There are so many exciting brands and jobs that graduates struggle out find out about and apply for. A key goal for Radar is to work with all key sectors and academia to retain our talent within NI and attract more NI graduates back to NI. Click here to review Sectors
Does Radar highlight training academies?
Yes, companies can list their jobs as a Graduate Job or as a Training Programme. These graduate programmes are delivered directly by companies or with government support and they offer highly successful entry points to an industry and company and nurture and enhance a skill set which is very in-demand. A very strong proportion of people that complete training academies are offered permanent employment opportunities.
Will Radar promote apprenticeships?
Yes, Radar will support and promote opportunities for talented apprentices very shortly.
Will Radar promote placement opportunities or internships?
Yes, Radar is currently developing this functionality and it will be available shortly.
