Radar is very proud to be supporting local charity Cara-Friend for this year’s Belfast Pride. Cara-Friend has been serving the LGBTQ+ community in Northern Ireland since 1974, providing regional LGBTQ+ youth groups across Northern Ireland.
The charity offers one-to-one support for individuals, LGBTQ+ awareness training for professionals and volunteers working in a variety of different areas, community development, the LGBT Switchboard NI helpline service, and the LGBTQ+ Inclusive Schools Programme as well as a range of policy, advocacy and campaigning initiatives.
Cake for a Cause
Radar and the Abacus Talent Group are holding a variety of fundraising activities this week to raise funds which will go towards the improvement of LGBTQ+ youth. This Friday, staff are taking part in a ‘Pride Quiz’, as well as sinking their teeth into cake for a cause at our Pride Bake Off, all whilst dressing in Pride colours.
